LARGE ANTIQUE "MARBURG" PATTERN ENTRY DOOR UNIT LOCK IN BRONZE BY CORBIN
A truly beautiful piece of antique entry door hardware created & patented by Corbin in 1898. This pattern is called "Marburg" & is in cast bronze. These unit locks were meant to be a one shot kind of installation when it came to entry door hardware during the late 1800's into the 20th century. You just cut out a retanglar section of the door where the lock box fits & basically you are done! It is adjustable as to door thickness. The following measurements will help you determine if this unit lock will work for your project:
- Door thickness: 1 3/8" to 2"
- Backset: 3 1/8"
- Plate sizes: 12" high x 4 3/8" max
- Cut out size for box: 3 7/8" deep x 1 3/8" high
