Tough to find but oh so cool! This type of vintage mortise box is call a "Jack & Jill" mortise box. The dead bolt is split so 2 adjoining rooms can safely use the same bath room. This one has a nickel over bronze edge plate. Measurements are: box - 4 5/16" high x 3 1/2" deep w/ 2 3/4" backset, edge plate is 1 1/16" wide x 6 5/16" high.
