A truly spectacular pair of monumental cast bronze entry doors from the Detroit Trust Company (now Comerica Bank) built in 1915 & designed by famed architect Albert Kahn.

With a lovely patina, magnificently detailed & in premium condition, these 112 1/2"h x 32"w (64" total width) doors stood guard over some security area (we think safety deposit). On the left is a small Mother of Pearl buzzer button that was hooked to a cable. The doors were removed in the late 1950's-early 1960's at the bank's request. Oh My! They were lovingly stored all these years by the man who removed them for the bank. Superbly detailed pierce cast bronze panels adorned each door, along with a hefty ornate ring pull to open the door. We can also re-key the cylinder lock for you.

What a fabulous addition to new construction or a renovation project. A small original surround (1 side) is included (see photos) as well as a custom made steel jamb.
