PAIR OF 1925 VINTAGE EXTERIOR MAIN ENTRANCE IRON SCONCES FROM GRAYSTONE MANOR OHIO
These great large vintage iron & copper sconces once graced the huge Tudor entrance to Graystone Manor in Ohio. This spectacular 1925 estate, with landscaping by Frederick Law Olmstead, is now gone. But these wonderful exterior sconces live on, hoping to stand proud on another home where they will be cherished, as they once were. Standing 38"h x 15"d x 10 1/2"w, with cool scroll & leaf work, with frosted glass. Fabulous for any entry way. Not only do you get a piece of history, that everyone loves to hear about, you get to embellish your home with a pair beautiful fixtures. Thought to be by Samuel Yellin, Master Iron Craftsman of Philadelphia who did other work in the house for W.W. Knight.
