A wonderful framed contemporary original oil painting of Amalfi Harbor painted by Michelli. If you love Italy & the Med...this painting will definitely take you there! Very painterly with stylized brush work. Nicely framed in a final size of 47" wide x 37" high. I love the interesting boats moored in the harbor. And really am capitivated by the colors in the clouds. This is a moody painting & I like that.

This is a wonderful 19th c antique/vintage American oilpainting on canvas reminiscent of the Hudson River School of painting. Showing a church with attached mill set on a small set of falls off a large river (Hudson?). If you have every been down the Hudson river, there is a place called "World's End" near Westpoint. A great old piece that survived the wrecking ball back in the 1970's. Toledo's famed Paramount Theater was a Greek themed, atmospheric theater with fabulous statuary & decor. This fabulous plaster bust of a male has that wonderful look as if just found on a dig. Made by DaPrato Studios, the premiere religious & theater statuary studio in the country at that time.
